The
China National Biotec Group has a huge manufacturing
capacity. As of the end of this year, companies in the
group have invested approximately 124 million yuan RMB
to meet GMP standards and a total of 53 facilities and
166 products have received a State GMP Certificate.
Among these products, 24 are listed as Class I or Class
II New Drugs. The Class I drugs representing intellectual
property of the group include: hepatitis A vaccine (live),
Japanese encephalitis vaccine (live), recombinant hepatitis
B vaccine (CHO cell), Rubella vaccine, divalent diarrhea
vaccine and live rotavirus vaccine. The Class II drugs
include: CHO interferon-α2a for injection, tick-borne
encephalitis vaccine and inactivated rhG-CSF and DTaP
vaccine. Therapeutic drugs manufactured by CNBG include:
blood products, antisera, recombinant products, cell
engineering products, immuno-modulator and microbiological
products etc.
